Spanish Influence

Living in Texas I am exposed to the Spanish language on a daily basis. I try to translate constantly just for my own personal satisfaction. With that said, I went to the post office the other day and the postal lady was wearing one of those lanyard thing around her neck and it had writing. "Hmm", I said to my self " I wonder who (I have to spell this phonetically) Haysoos Sahvess is?"

Then it hit me- the lanyard said Jesus Saves. I'm an idiot.

LOL! Really we Texans SHOULD have been taught Spanish in Kindergarten by the Mexicans, and the Mexican's could learn English from us English speakers. Then we would know 'haysoos sahvess':)
